We work with local schools, hospitals, community centers and libraries that need a paint job makeover but are unable to do so on their own due to lack of fund and helping hand. You will have the chance to use your artistic skills to paint murals and inspirational messages. The community people will give you extra hand.
Painting projects are mostly arranged in a rural community in Nepal. These unprivileged community doesn’t have enough fund access to paint and decorate their local educational and health facilities.
Urban painting project are available too which includes painting the community schools and hospitals. This program is available for 2+ or large groups, runs all year round. Duration of this project would be 1 to 12 weeks
People with paint and art skills are encouraged to join this project
Generally you will wake up around 7am and your typical day starts with a cup of morning tea. Main meal is served around 9:30am. After meal head to the painting project. You will be painting 5 to 6 days a week. Saturday is the day off. But it really depends on you. Our painting project are flexible on starting and ending hours.
In your free time before and after school please support your family in household and agricultural works. It is the best way to immerse in to Nepali culture, learn language and Play and do educational activities with community kids is so much fun. They absolutely Love it.

Your accommodation and meals will be arranged at a local family close to your project(5 to 15-minute walk). You will be provided a private room with basic furniture. Meals are served 3 times a day. Dal Bhat Tarkari (Rice, Lentils and vegetables) is the most common food cooked in Nepali homes. Most families in rural village have pan toilets and normal shower. Some family have Wi-Fi and hot shower.
Water- You can either purchase bottled water at local tea shops or ask with your hosting family for filtered or boiled water.
