The teaching orphans in Nepal project offers you the opportunity, not only to teach orphans, but to motivate and enrich the lives of young people at the same time. The rewards from this volunteer project are endless; you can spread happiness and also receive it from the laughter of the young people you are helping.
As a volunteer you will either live at the orphanage home or in neighboring host families. You will be able to help with many things like taking care of the needs, teaching them, getting them ready for school. Depending on your own expertise and interests, you can teach English, drawing, songs, music, dance, cooking, or any number of activities, and generally just spend quality time with the children.
Your day will consist of teaching for a few hours in the morning and in the evening, and in the afternoon looking after the general well being of the children.
Nepal offers breathtaking adventure activities all year round. So whenever you are free to want a break you can join some activities like trekking, hiking, paragliding, white water rafting, bungy jump, jungle safari etc. VCD Nepal also offers a combined package with touristy actives and cultural exchange experience. We can custom design an itinerary according to your preference.
