You will have a chance to work alongside tour and trekking companies, hotels and resorts to see how the hospitality industry in Nepal works.
You would be working 5 to 7 hours a day. But there is always an opportunity to work longer hours if are you willing too. As you know tourism and hospitality businesses are always open. Tourism and hospitality internship runs all year round and available from 2 to 20 weeks. It can be customized according to your needs and preferences.
Your typical day starts with a cup of morning tea. Generally you will wake up around 7am. Morning tea is served around 7:30 with light snacks. Main meal is ready about 9am. After meal get ready and go to your work.

Accomodation & Meals
Volunteer’s accommodation will be arranged either at the hotel/resort or a local family. You will be provided a clean room with basic furnishing. Most of the family have Nepali style toilet and bathroom. Free WI-FI is available at some of the host families. If accommodation arranged within the workplace in a hotel you will be provided a hotel room.
Meals is served 3 times a day. DalBhatTarkari (Rice, Lentils and vegetables) is the most common food cooked in Nepali homes. It is foundation of Nepali cuisine which is served twice a day.
Water- You can either purchase bottled water at the local shops or ask with your hosting family for filtered or boiled water.
