Upon arrival in Pokhara for trekking- After your jungle safari adventure in Chitwan you will travel to Pokhara by a tourist bus. It’s about 5 hours journey. Upon arrival in Pokhara you will be met by your trekking guide who would transfer you to the hotel accommodation. You will rest for few hours and in the evening your guide will come and brief you about the Trekking.
Trekking: Wake up early morning, grab some breakfast and leave for trekking. This is fully guided trip so you will be accompanied by our guide while trekking. Accommodation and food will be arranged at the local tea houses.
Where is my trekking route?
Trekking around Annapurna Conservation region. But remember trekking route can be customized according to your travel plan and preferences.
Getting back to Kathmandu after trek- Upon completion of trekking your guide will drop you off at a hotel in Lakeside, Pokhara. Next morning our local coordinator will pick you around 7am from your hotel and put you in the bus to Kathmandu.
The bus journey to Kathmandu from Pokhara takes about 7-8 hours in normal traffic. Upon arrival in Kathmandu you will be met by our volunteer coordinator and guide you to your hotel accommodation in Thamel.
Do i need any special trekking equipment for this trek?
A good runner and warm jacket should be alright. It’s very easy and low altitude trekking. But it really depends on the season. Please let us know beforehand so we would be able to advise you on what to bring.
Do I need any special clothing or gear for jungle safari?
We advise you to bring mosquito repellent and sun protection location. Chitwan has sub-tropical climate so bring shorts and t-shirts.
