Cultural Exchange in Nepal is a fully immersive homestay-based program for participants who want to experience everyday Nepali life beyond tourism or structured volunteering. Participants live with local host families in urban or rural communities, sharing meals, routines, conversations, and cultural traditions. In rural locations, participants may engage informally in light household or seasonal farming activities, such as collecting vegetables, assisting with harvest, cleaning animal areas, or helping with basic milking — these are family-led, cultural experiences, not labour or volunteering.
