Durga Giri

Mr. Giri serves as VCD Nepal’s coordinator for the Pokhara region while also teaching at a local school. He mobilizes local volunteers for community projects, utilizing his experience since 2008. Additionally, his family has hosted many volunteers, enriching their cultural exchange.

Shyam Silwal

As a village coordinator since 2007, he ensures volunteers’ comfort, guiding them through local sights. His family has hosted 50+ volunteers from 10+ countries. Living in Godawari, Nepal, with his wife and daughters, he embodies hospitality and community spirit, warmly welcoming and engaging with all.

Pratikshya Paudel

Miss Pratikshya joined VCD Nepal in December 2014 as the Community/ Library Coordinator, overseeing operations in Chitwan. She excels in motivating local children and facilitates homestays for international volunteers. Her representation of VCD Nepal in youth capacity building programs across Europe, Indonesia, and Singapore reflects her dedication to the organization’s mission.

Santosh Pokhrel

Santosh has been a part of VCD Nepal since early 2008, overseeing placements for international interns and managing media-related volunteer initiatives. Holding a master’s degree in journalism and mass communication, his expertise and willingness to aid volunteers underscore his crucial role within the organization.
